UAE Red Crescent inaugurates two projects in Mocha

The local authority in Mocha district west Taiz province inaugurated two water projects on Sunday, co-founded and supported by the UAE Red Crescent.

The two projects located in al-Zahri and Yakhtel areas in the district as 21, 000 civilians will get benefit from the two projects.

The two projects were implemented in support of the UAE Red Crescent Authority within " Suqya Emirates" initiative, which includes the 23rd solar water projects along the west coast of Yemen.

The UAE project aims to provide clean drinking water to the citizens, thereby saving children and women the risk of epidemics passing through polluted water.

Saeed Al-Kaabi, the Director of Humanitarian Operations in Yemen, said that the implementation of the water wells project comes within the framework of development and service projects provided by the UAE Crescent along the West Coast.
