Houthis landmines continue killing, injuring people in al-Hodeida

The Houthi militias' landmines killed six civilians, including two children on Friday in al-Hodeida province, local observers said to Newsyemen.  

The observers added that 12 others were injured in Houthi landmines explosion in al-Haseeb area, south al-Jarrahi district, and al-Madman area, west the district.

A medical source said that the Zabeed Rural Hospital received the dead bodies of Ayed Hasan Marzoqi, 11, and his brothers Abdulnaser and Hussein,8-9.

The hospital also received Ayed's sister Ms. Fathia Marzoqi, 19, to al-Amal Hospital in al-Hodaidah city to take shrapnel out of her body.

Sources quoted local residents as saying that a landmine planted by Houthis killed Ayed and two his brothers, while Abdulnaser and Hussein, including their elder sister injured when they had transferred animals' grasses on a donkey cart.

In al-Madman area, a Houthi landmine killed Hasan Obaid Makhil and Fath Khalil Abdo Khalil,28-24, while on their way on a motorbike to the south of the area.

Another youth in his 20s was killed while he was riding an agricultural machinery in al-Naseri valley in al-Hodeida province.
