ICRC: Foreigners on prisoner exchange lists in Yemen

An official at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Wednesday that the two warring parties in Yemen exchanged lists containing a total of 16,000 names.
The names are believed to be held under a prisoner exchange deal signed last week.
"Within 40 days of the signing agreement on 11 December, the ICRC would have 10 days to meet those who are released and arrange for their transfer," Fabrizio Carboni ICRC Regional Director for Near and Middle East.
He pointed out that the lists are expected to include the names of persons detained outside Yemen and some foreigners detained in Yemen.
