UN official: Houthis prevent WFP to enter Taiz

A source at the World Food Program told Newsyemen that Houthi group informed them late Saturday evening that they refused to allow the WFP to enter Taiz city via al-Hawban road.
The source added that the WFP pointed out earlier that the delegation headed by the Country Deputy Director Ali Redha intends to visit the city of Taiz on 23, 24 Dec. to see the humanitarian situation.
Earlier, the Houthi militias blocked the visit of UN Under-Secretary-General to Taiz, as well as the Humanitarian Affairs Representative, and the security representative of the Office of the International Envoy Martin Griffiths in Aden.
