The famine has killed 85,000 children under the age of five in three and a half years of war in Yemen, a Dutch organization said.
A spokesman for the Dutch organization said the crisis in Yemen would kill more children if it had left unchecked.
The organization added that 400 children under the age of five suffer from severe malnutrition and are engaged every day battle for survival.
The death of one child because of famine is a tragedy," the Dutch organization said.
