UN Monitoring Commitee hold meeting in al-Hodeida

The head of the UN Monitoring Committee, the  General Patrick Cammaert, held a meeting with members of the Joint Military Commission (JMC) in al-Hodeida city, west Yemen.

The meeting, which was held at al-Etehad Hotel, came after the arrival of representatives of the legitimate government of the UN committee to city for the first time since the city was invaded by the Houthi militias in 2014, a source told Newsyemen.

On Wednesday morning, the committee arrived at the 22nd May hospital, which was liberated by the Joint Forces in November, before General Patrick joined them and moved to the Hotel to meet representatives of the Houthi militia.

Earlier on Tuesday, representatives of the legitimate government of the JMC arrived at the camp of the Arab Alliance in al-Hodeida and met with the leadership of the Joint Resistance Forces.

The government side of the committee is represented by Saghir Bin Aziz, Mohamed Ayda and AbdulRahman al-Kobani.
