Journalists working in institutions in Sana'a accused Houthi militias of confiscating aid of the World Food Program for more than a year.

The food program gave them monthly baskets of food, but they did not receive them for a year ago, after the militias robbed them and signed on behalf of them.

Journalists al-Thawra Newspaper and Saba News Agency told Newsyemen that they had received telephone calls from Food Program office in Sana'a to confirm that they had received their monthly food baskets.

When the Journalists went to the organization's office, they surprised that there had been a monthly receipt for their names, phone numbers and identity cards confirming that they got the WFP aid.

They reported that the lists do not belong only to employees of al-Thawra , but include names of a number of institutions and ministries.

This is not the first time that the confiscation of humanitarian aid has been revealed, and it has been confirmed as well through documented reports.

There have been numerous attempts of this kind. However, international organizations do not take a stand against these practices.
