Houthi shells kill, injure six civilians, including children in al-Hodeida

Six civilians, including two children, were killed and wounded in a Houthi shelling on villages in al-Dhuraihemi district in al-Hodeida province on Tuesday.

A local source said to Newsyemen that the Houthi militias fired tens artillery shells on al-Haet, al-Manqam al-Asfal villages south and southwest al-Dhuraihemi city in the province.

The source confirmed the killing and wounding 6 people, including two children, in addition to burning a farm in Tayef area.

Local civilians said to Newsyemen that they were surprised that dozens of mortar shells fell down on their villages in al-Duraihemi district, south al-Hodeida province.

A shell fell down on a straw house, causing the falling of the house on the child who he drew his last breath when they tried to get him out.

A child was also killed by a Houthi shell and two others were injured on al-Haet village.
The source said that a man and a woman were seriously wounded by Houthi mortar's shrapnel fell down on their farm when they were collecting crops in al-Tayef area.
