Emirates Crescent inaugurates Al Fateh School in Kattaba

The UAE Red Crescent opened Sunday Al Fateh School in Qattaba area in Al Khokha Directorate in Hodeidah Governorate.

Abdullah Al-Hubaishi, the representative of the Crescent in the West Coast, said that the Authority is working according to a strategic plan to ensure the resumption of the educational process along the liberated West Coast directorates.

He added that the school will enable 800 students to return to their classes.

He confirmed that the coming weeks will witness the opening of eight more schools, bringing the number of educational facilities that the UAE has restored through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent, renovated and rehabilitated to 36 facilities in the West Coast.

For his part, director of the Education Office of the directorate of Khokha Ibrahim Ajash, said that the UAE managed through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent, to save the devastated education sector in the directorate of Khokha and various directorates of the West Coast due to the war imposed by the Houthi militias.

In this context, the director of Al-Fath School, Mohammed Al-Oud, said that the school had been out of readiness and stopped teaching completely as a result of the war imposed by the Houthi militias, before the UAE Red Crescent restoration and rehabilitation.

He pointed out that this is the third school that the UAE has renovated and rehabilitated in the area of   Kattaba.
