Civilian and local demands calling on the joint forces to put an end to the Houthi persecution and daily terror directed at civilians in light of the silence and complicity of the UN mission.  The calls stressed the need to complete the liberation of Tahita, Hayes and the rest of the areas in southern Hodeidah to secure the population and protect civilians.

The past 24 hours have witnessed an unprecedented escalation of attacks, shelling, targeting and planting IEDs on the main roads.
Militias have mounted escalating attacks in Hays, Tahita, Jabaliya, Faza, Tur and Durahimi.
On Wednesday evening, the city of Tahita was bombed with heavy weapons and machine guns and the militias carried out a third assault attempt in 24 hours south of the district center.

The militia used a large number of drones and carried out intense shelling to cover up an attempt to infiltrate the district center, a Newyemen correspondent in Tahita reported.

The militias continued to mobilize its fighters in areas of Tahita, especially in Magras, Al-Sowiq and Al-Falah for the third day, according to sources.
