Sources said that the political and military leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Taiz discussed proposals to appoint a commander for the 35-armored brigade in place of the martyr commander Adnan al-Hammadi, who was subjected to a premeditated assassination and his body has not been buried yet, while the Islah already has determined his successor.

The sources revealed several proposals that were circulated, and it was agreed that Major General Khaled Fadel will be appointed commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, in addition to his work in commanding the Axis.

The sources said that the discussions of the Islah leaders had also reached the appointment of the Staff of the 35th Brigade, Colonel Abdel Malik Al-Ahdal, as Commander of the 145th Brigade, which was under the leadership of Fadil, and the promotion of Al-Hujaria sector commander in the 35th Brigade, Amin Al-Akhali, to the position of the Staff of the 35th Armored Brigade.

Al-Ahdal and Al-Akhali are among the well-known military leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, in addition to the agreement between the leaders of Islah to launch promotions that were suspended and allocations of the wounded and the families of the martyrs that were frozen by the Axis.

The sources said that consideration was given to handing out salary to members of the brigade that Khaled Fadel had confiscated and had not paid, last year, in order to prevent the rebellion of members of the brigade and its leaders against Khaled Fadel.
