On Sunday, government forces introduced a new fighting front, northwest of Al-Bayda governorate, (central Yemen), and launched an attack on the Houthi militia stationed on the outskirts of the Quraishiya district.

A local source in Al-Bayda said that the National Army forces and tribesmen from Qayfah launched an attack on Houthi positions in the Al-Dahra area adjacent to the Bani Dabyan District of Sana'a, confirming the death and injury of a number of militia members during the attack and the flight of the rest of them from the targeted locations.

He added that the development of this front by the army in the administrative borders between the governorates of Al-Bayda and Sanaa comes amid reports that the Houthis transferred groups of its elements from the areas of Radaa towards the Sarwah and Naham fronts.

The source suggested opening other fronts by the popular resistance and tribesmen in the governorate, as well as in the governorates of Ma'rib and Al-Jawf and east of Sanaa, indicating that this is one of the solutions to relieve pressure on the forces on the burning fronts in Sarwah and Naham, which have been repelling more than a week of continuous Houthi attacks.
