The Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, continue to violate and plunder the homes and property of national leaders and political opponents in the capital Sanaa in particular and in areas of their control in general.

Local sources in the capital, Sanaa, said: The Houthi militia stormed the house of former Prime Minister Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujawar in Al-Nahdhah neighborhood, with allegations of judicial orders to put it under quarantine.

According to the sources, the Houthi leader Saleh al-Shaer, called the Judicial Guard, was the one who led the storming of the house of Dr. Mujawar, in which one of his sons and some family members lived, noting that the Houthi militia terrorized the residents of the house with the storming process and its acceleration of the custody of the furniture and contents of the house.

Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujawar is a citizen of the Shabwa governorate, and he was the last to hold the position of head of government during the era of the martyr leader Ali Abdullah Saleh. He is currently an ambassador and permanent delegate to the Republic of Yemen to the European Office of the United Nations in Geneva, and he is one of the prominent leaders in the General People's Congress.  Those who were injured in the terrorist attack on the Presidential Mosque on June 3, 2011, which targeted the President of the Republic, Ali Abdullah Saleh, and senior state leaders at the time.

The Houthi militia's storming of a neighboring house comes within the framework of crimes and violations practiced by the Houthi militia, including the storming, confiscation and looting of the homes of former national leaders and their political opponents, which are in violation of the constitution and the laws in force and implemented in a bullying manner without any legal justifications.

It is noteworthy that Saleh Al-Shaer, whom the Houthi militia calls the judicial guard, is the one who leads the looting and confiscation of homes and properties belonging to Houthi's opponents, and he is considered as the hand of the militia leader Abdul-Malik Al Houthi for the pillaging and theft.
