The Emirates Red Crescent distributes dates for the displaced and residents of the coastal districts

On Sunday, the UAE Red Crescent Authority began distributing a quantity of dates in Mocha within a program that includes all districts of the West Coast.


Today, the Director of Mocha Abdurahim Al-Fateeh Directorate said, a quantity of dates provided by the UAE was distributed to volunteer teachers and unpaid workers in the health field, as well as to displaced and poor families in Mocha.


 Al-Fateeh expressed his deep thanks to the continuous humanitarian role of the Emirates and the development programs it offers in Mocha through its humanitarian arm.


He said that the UAE, through its human arm, is concerned with the concerns of the citizen in various fields and sectors, including educational, health and infrastructure projects in the Directorate.


 For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Yousifi, official of relief and camps in the Emirates Red Crescent, said that the distribution process includes all districts of the West Coast.


 He added, the distribution also includes the displaced families residing in the liberated Hodeidah directorates.


The UAE Red Crescent is implementing a number of development and relief programs and activities in the west coast, the most prominent of which is the rehabilitation of 36 schools after they were destroyed by the war of the Houthi militia.
