Houthi militias, backed by Iran, have bombed populated areas located on the administrative border between Lahj and Al Bayda, causing extensive material damage to the property of citizens.

A local source said that the Houthi militias from their position in the Al-Bayda governorate launched, on Wednesday, a violent mortar bombardment on the administrative area of Hasas of the Hidd Yafi` district.

It explained that the bombing had caused severe damage to the home of Mohsen Abdulhabib, after one of the shells fell directly on the house, in deliberate targeting within the escalation series that the Houthis are adopting.

The Houthi militia had previously targeted the areas of contact between Lahj and Al-Bayda, and the southern forces stationed there had repelled and stopped the shelling.
