Sana'a, Newsyemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has acknowledged the death of one of its leaders, Hassan Ayda Al-Ramam, in confrontations with the army, according to the militia's Saba agency.

Ramam is one of the main founders of the Houthi militia, and one of the companions of its founder, Hussein al-Houthi, who was killed in the year two thousand and four.

Al-Ramam, who belongs to the Khawlan bin Amer tribes and lives in the Fut region of the Haidan district of Saada governorate, received great training from leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Lebanese Hezbollah militia.

Al-Ramam also participated in the Six Wars, and was one of the contributors to the sending of militia elements to Tehran and Lebanon.

Al-Ramam also supervised the establishment of a number of local militia organizations and associations, through which the fighters were being attracted.
