Al-Zubaidi issues a decision to ban partial roaming in all southern governorates

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, issued, on Thursday evening, a decision to impose a partial curfew in all the southern governorates, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus.


The decision read by the spokesperson for the Transitional Council, Engineer Nizar Haitham, to prevent the presence and movement between neighborhoods in the cities of the southern governorates, its streets, villages and highways, from ten in the evening until six in the morning, indicating that the decision will continue to work until the conditions that necessitated its issuance have ended.

The decision excludes those concerned with emergency tasks related to the public service of citizens and humanitarian situations.

While the decision obligated all military and security units to implement its provisions, each within the scope of their competence, and to start implementing it from the date of its issuance on March 26, 2020.


The leadership of the Transitional Council called on all people of the south to cooperate with the military and security services in all governorates to commit to implementing this decision and in this sensitive and important circumstance that calls for solidarity together to preserve the health and safety of all and protect public and private property.
