Washington: The UAE has made huge gains in fighting terrorism in Yemen

The US National Security Council praised the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in combating terrorism in Yemen, and the huge gains that it resulted against the terrorist organizations "Al Qaeda" and "ISIS".
"The efforts made by the United Arab Emirates have achieved huge gains against the terrorist organizations (Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and ISIS) in Yemen," the US National Security Council said, in a brief statement posted Thursday through its official account on Twitter.
"The United States and the UAE are determined to continue these efforts together," he added.
The US National Security Council concluded, at the end of the statement, that "after five years of the conflict in Yemen, it is more important than ever that all parties work together for a bright, peaceful and secure future for Yemen."
While the United Arab Emirates expressed its pride in working together with its partners in the United States of America to promote peace and stability in the region.
This came in a tweet published by the Emirates Mission through its official account on Twitter, Thursday, in response to the praise of the US National Security Council.
