Residents of Al-Manaseb village, in the Al-Jumuah region, north-east of Mocha, complained that they were excluded from the emergency support project for agricultural livelihoods of the most affected families, supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The residents told Newsyemen that the field survey implementers excluded the villagers who depend on livestock from the project that targeted poor families.

They added, that several complaints had reached the implementers of the project, which is supported by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action and implemented by FAO, but had been ignored.

The village of Al-Manaseb, whose population is around 1,000 people, lives on livestock and seasonal agriculture.

It is scheduled that 27 thousand families will benefit from the emergency support project for the agricultural livelihoods of the most affected families in four governorates, including 1,500 families in Mocha.
