Aden, NewsYemen:

The Arab Parliament called for preventing the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, from acquiring advanced weapons, and for taking serious steps to stop the Iranian regime's "subversive activities" in the region.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Arab Parliament condemned the Houthi launch of a booby-trapped drone on the city of Khamis Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia, which was intercepted by the Arab coalition forces led by the Kingdom.

The statement called on the international community to condemn these "terrorist attacks", take firm stances towards them, and hold the perpetrators and those who support them with money and weapons to account.

The parliament urged the international community to "prevent the Houthis from acquiring advanced weapons, ballistic missiles and drones that they use to carry out their terrorist acts targeting civilians and civilian objects."

He stressed the need for the international community to take serious steps to stop the subversive activities carried out by the Iranian regime, which supports and finances the Houthis, armed groups and terrorist organizations in the region.
