A cleric close to the Houthis announces the disappearance of his son in Sanaa

A cleric close to the Houthi group announced, on Tuesday, the disappearance of his son in Sanaa, which is under the control of the militia, for several days.

The cleric, Yahya Hussein Al-Dailami, submitted a report to the Houthi-appointed Public Prosecutor, about the disappearance of his son (Ibrahim) for the sixth day in a row.

 The statement said that al-Dailami's son (Ibrahim) disappeared in Sana'a on September 15, and his fate is still ambiguous until this moment.

He denounced the phenomenon of disappearance in Sana'a, holding the "Sana'a authority" fully responsible for putting an end to this phenomenon, because it is linked to securing the members of society and creating a sense of safety for them.

He also called on those he called "the competent authorities," led by the Attorney General and the Minister of Interior (the Houthis' interior minister) to give the communication the importance it deserves and to exercise their duties in maintaining security and revealing the fate of the young Ibrahim bin Yahya Hussein al-Dailami.

The disappearance of al-Dailami's son comes amid a conflict of wings within the Houthi militia, which has reached the level of physical liquidation that affected a number of leaders, including Hassan Zaid, the former Minister of Youth and Sports in the militia's government that is not internationally recognized.
