The kidnapping of the brother of journalist Fawaz Al-Wafi in the city of Taiz

 Gunmen belonging to the Brotherhood's Popular Mobilization militia kidnapped a young man in the city of Taiz, which is under its control.

Local sources told NewsYemen that gunmen belonging to the Brotherhood's crowd militia kidnapped the brother of journalist Fawaz al-Wafi, on Tuesday morning, and took him to an unknown destination.

According to the sources, Al-Wafi was tortured and beaten by the kidnappers who imprisoned him for several hours and seized his money and personal mobile and then released him this evening.

Politicians, activists and human rights activists have called on social media to make radical changes to the military and security leaders accused of failing to put an end to the ongoing chaos and lawlessness in the city of Taiz.

And last March, photographer Fawaz Al-Wafi was stabbed to death by unknown assailants in his car in the Wadi Al-Qadi area of the city of Taiz, which is under the control of the Brotherhood, which has witnessed for years a lawlessness and a rise in the number of murders and looting on an almost daily basis.
