Aden, NewsYemen:

The Yemeni government has retracted its earlier decision to cancel the handling of travel documents issued by the authorities of the terrorist Houthi militia in Sanaa.

On Thursday, Reuters news agency quoted three Yemeni officials as saying that the Yemeni government had agreed to allow Houthi passport holders to travel outside Yemen, to remove a major obstacle that halted the resumption of commercial flights from the capital, Sanaa, under a truce agreement.

The three Yemeni officials added that after talks with UN Special Envoy Hans Grundberg in Aden this week, the Yemeni government agreed to allow Houthi-issued passport holders to board the flights.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision has not been made public, said the first flight could operate as soon as next week, according to the agency.
