The delegation includes a number of representatives of United Nations organizations, headed by the Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Diego Zorrilla.

The delegation began by visiting Al-Shamayatayn Directorate to assess the humanitarian needs, and then proceeded to meet with the local authority in the governorate to discuss the health and educational situation in the city.

The UN delegation revealed the existence of a plan that will be implemented in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene and a number of programs, in response to the humanitarian needs plan in Taiz.
