Aden, NewsYemen, special:

The unfortunate events that took place in Shabwa governorate last week, due to the rebellion of some Brotherhood security and military factions, proved the reality of the national loyalty sung by the Islah Party, the local branch of the international organization, which is classified as a terrorist in most countries of the world.

The events that began after the dismissal of security and military Brotherhood leaders in Shabwa confirmed that this group's loyalty is to the party first and not to the homeland as it had claimed.

Brotherhood militias’ mouthpieces continue to chant the phrase legitimacy and patriotism in all of their theses, while they do not consider either of them against reality and rebel against them as long as they do not serve the interests of their party.

Over the seven years of rule by the Islah Party, the Brotherhood’s branch in Yemen, during the period of former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, the Brotherhood controlled various sectors of the state’s political, diplomatic and economic sectors.  Consensual national leaders were excluded and replaced with others subject to the idea of brotherhood.

The Islah Party also worked to include the army and security in their favour, and turned against comrades-in-arms from the popular resistance factions with the aim of monopolizing the rule in Taiz, Marib and the liberated governorates, before the Southern Awakening that liberated the capital Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea and Socotra from the Brotherhood’s influence and ended their security and military presence there.

Perhaps the statement issued by the Islah party regarding the Shabwa events, confirms the fact of this party’s opportunism and its willingness to barter the nation for positions, influence and control in the oil regions.

This was evident in the party's threat that it would suspend its participation in various fields unless the governor of Shabwa was dismissed, instead of Minister al-Awlaki, because of his standing in the face of the militia's rebellion in Ataq.

Political researcher and journalist, Nabil al-Sufi, says in this regard: "The Leadership Council dismissed al-Bahsani, one of its members, from the position of the largest, richest and most important governor of the governorate, and calmly handed over his position. A week later, the Leadership Council dismissed a number of leaders of camps controlled by the Brotherhood in Shabwa, so war broke out, and for now the Islah members are calling for a change of leadership council."

Al-Sufi asked, "What will they do when the dismissal of Sultan Al-Arada from Marib and Abdo Farhan Salem from Taiz is announced?"

While the journalist Fawaz Munser said in his comment on the statement: "The statement of the Islah party, the Yemeni Brotherhood branch, the remaining branch in the region, put them in the place of the Houthis by declaring rebellion against the decisions of the Presidential Council, and it is now playing the role of the Houthis in light of the international truce with the followers of Iran."

While the media and activist, Fares Al-Jalal, indicated that the last weapon of the Islah party was the statement, and said, "They have completely removed themselves from the game. The party that isolated itself from the people, parties and other political entities by monopolizing power and public office. It monopolized the country and legitimacy in it.

It monopolized diplomacy for their members, monopolized religion, monopolized army leaders, monopolized patriotism in it. It is only natural that they find themselves isolated and rejected ”

While the journalist Majid Al-Daari said, "After the statement of the Islah party and Haydan's speech... the Yemeni brotherhood acknowledge the rebellion and confront the coalition and legitimacy."
