He saluted all the efforts made by our negotiating team throughout the stages of the exchange negotiations, as well as the efforts made by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all the endeavors made for the liberation of our prisoners and their safe return to their homeland and their loved ones.
Southerners said that the successes of the southern forces and their families, Houthi prisoners who were dealt with according to Islamic values, culminated today in the liberation of the southern prisoners.
The official spokesman for the southern forces, Muhammad al-Naqeeb, said, “Today we proudly celebrate the achievement of liberating the southern prisoners, headed by the heroic commander Major General Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi. This political, military and humanitarian achievement came as a result of the constant and relentless action by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council represented by President Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
