Official documents and information obtained by "NewsYemen" revealed attempts by Brotherhood military leaders to confront a widespread move by the people of Al-Jawf Governorate against the looting of the governorate's revenues.

Dozens of the governorate's residents gathered in the Al-Jadafer area, south of Al-Hazm district, to demand that the displaced and resistant to the Houthi militia be able to manage and secure their governorate and benefit from its revenues from improvements, taxes, and others, according to the statement issued by the rally.

The statement called for an end to what it called looting and corruption, which it said "accumulated their suffering, impoverished them, and deprived them of all legitimate entitlements," pointing out that the rally and exit came "after the damage from the suffering of the fighters, the disabled, and the families of the martyrs from displacement and displacement reached a level that cannot tolerate silence and flattery."

In their statement, the people of the province called on the governor, Major General Hussein Al-Ajji Al-Awadi, to put the hand of the local authority on improving the province, to form a committee of the local authority and youth under the supervision and management of the local authority, and to approve an adequate percentage in favor of the displaced, fighters, the disabled, and the families of the martyrs.

This move angered the Brotherhood's military leaders, who are accused by the crowd of being behind the plundering of revenues collected in the name of the local authority and refusing to supply them to the authority's account in the central bank in Marib.

According to private sources, the command of the Sixth Military Region, led by Major General Haikal Hantaf, hastened to send several military crews to besiege the crowds and cordon off the sit-in area, threatening them with force to force them to leave.

Documents obtained by "Newsyemen" revealed that the Military Prosecution of the Sixth Military Region issued orders for the compulsory arrest of a number of its members for their participation in the rally, headed by Mohsen Al-Assar, who was chosen by the crowd as their official spokesperson.

The Military Prosecution of the Sixth Military Region justified this by accusing the participants in the rally of committing "the crime of discontinuity and resisting the legitimate authority and rebelling against it," which was denied by a number of the participants in the sit-in.

In an interview with "Newsyemen", they referred to the statement issued by them, which stressed in its introduction that the people of the province rally around a number of goals, foremost of which is the emphasis on the priority of the battle against the Houthi militia, Iran's arm, along with the brothers in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, and under the leadership of the president. Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi and the governor of the province, Major General Hussein Al-Ajji Al-Awadi.
