Statement: Southern Transitional Council's battle against Houthi militias

The Southern Transitional Council confirmed that its basic war, its military forces and its resistance are against the Iranian-backed Houthi project, expressing its categorical rejection of repeated provocations by hostile and irresponsible forces in a number of southern provinces.

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, in its weekly meeting held Sunday, chaired by Aidarus al-Zoubaidi, these desperate provocations attempts are to serve the Iranian project and the criminal militias as the southern forces wage a relentless war against the Houthi militias.

The Transitional Council saw such attempts to escalate are political and military failure evidences of the forces that could not confront the Houthi militias in the north, and turn to the implementation their projects to serve these militias, as well as serve hostile regional forces to the Arab Coalition and the South.

In a statement, the council underlined its readiness to ensure success the goals of the Operation Decisive Storm led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, stressing its keenness to miss the opportunity of hostile forces.

The Council commended the achievements and sacrifices of Shabwa Elite Forces, Hadramout Elite Forces, Socotra Elite Forces, and Security Belt Forces, confirming its unlimited support to achieve peace and security.

The Transitional Council called on the people of Ataq in Shabwa, Monday, to stage a demonstration in support of Shabwa Elite Forces in achieving peace and security in the province.
