Local residents: Al-Houthi militia launched a campaign of kidnappings in Damt, north of Al-Dhalea

Local residents told Newsyemen that Houthis militia had launched a widespread crackdown on sheikhs and residents in Damt District, north of Al-Dhalea, to compensate for its human losses.
They explained that the Houthi militia held the people of the Yazidi House area responsible for its setback in the field today in Murais, and launched a campaign of widespread kidnappings against citizens.
It also physically liquidated the right of some of the notables of the region to punish and brutalize the people, who refused to fight in their ranks.
The sources did not provide details on the number of the kidnapped and those who were liquidated, but they explained that it was a retaliatory response after southern forces penetrated their positions in the east and west of the Murais front, north of Al-Dhalea.
