A large-scale attack was thwarted at al-Dhalea ... and the southern artillery pounding Al Houthi militia sites in Al Fakher

The southern forces, with the participation of heavy artillery, fought fierce clashes in the north of Al-Dhalea governorate, while the Houthi militia launched a large-scale attack under intense fire cover.
The southern forces aborted the attack in the axis around Tabab Othman, north of Al-Fakher, in the Qataba district, and the Houthi militia caused losses in equipment and lives, according to military sources testifying to a NewsYemen correspondent.
The sources indicated that, on Saturday, the northern fronts of Al-Dhalea witnessed intermittent clashes and exchange of artillery shelling between the joint southern forces on the one hand and the Houthi militia on the other hand, but in the evening the Iranian arm initiated the attack on the Al-Fakher and Habeel Al-Abdi sectors, west of the city of Qataba, and expanded to the sectors of Habil Al-Kalb and Markhaza.
The sources said that the southern forces, with the support of artillery, succeeded in responding to the attack, which was described as widespread and inflicted heavy losses on Iran’s arm, in equipment and lives, through a series of strikes that flattened the Al-Houthi fortifications in Al-Fakher.
Al-Houthi militia movements were also targeted on the western side of Habeel Al-Abdi, and direct casualties were caused.
During the past two days, the various sectors of the Dhalea axis have witnessed a calm of caution, which was marked by some intermittent nightly confrontations.
