"Measles" kills 45 children in Dhamar in 2018

A medical source said to Newsyemen that 45 measles cases have been died in Dhamar province, central Yemen in 2018, according to a medical report. .
Jahran district was registered the highest rank of deaths as 22 cases have been recorded, al-Hada 5 cases, 18 other cases were distributed among other districts in the province, the source said.
He added that the hospitals in Dhamar suffer from the lack of medical resources because of Houthis controlling and using use them in the militias favor.
He added that the militia prevents access to medical assistance to many districts, especially rural areas, causing many diseases and deaths.
According to a report by the General Department for Disease Control and Surveillance, the number of deaths from measles in Dhamar was estimated at 200 out of 25,000 suspected cases of the disease.
