Houthis refuse to release drug shipment for renal failure patients

The Houthi militias have refused to release a medicines shipment for renal failure patients in Ibb province, medical sources said.
The medical sources added that the militias seized the shipment at a new security checkpoint at the entrance of the center of Ibb city.
The shipment was provided by the National Drug Supply Program which has a formal permit to facilitate its passage.
The department of al-Thawra Hospital and Hemodialysis Center make great efforts to allow its passage.
Al-Thawra Hospital in Ibb city sent a memo to the Customs Department requesting an entry of the detained dialysis materials at the port, but the Customs refused to enter the shipment and demand funds for its release.
