Endowments rehabilitate mosques in Hadramout worth Y.R 30 m per year

Sayoun city in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen is preparing to receive the holy month of Ramadan in special religious and rituals in mosques and minarets.

The readiness shows a good look after painting walls and minarets, including setting up an integrated air conditioning system to ease summer heat.

It is set out in 2017 a plan to take care of mosques in major cities as a fixed annual budget estimated at Y.R 30 million, said Murad Subaih, the Office Director General at the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance in Valley and Desert.

The Endowment Office worked on the restoration and rehabilitation of 31 Mosques in Sayoun, Tarim, Shebam and al-Qatan districts for a total amount of Y.R 40 million.
