Third soldier within 24 hours killed in downtown Taiz

A soldier was killed and another civilian injured in armed clashes between gunmen on Friday evening, a few hours after an assassination of another soldier in the city of Taiz, central Yemen.
Gunmen riding in a vehicle, step out of it, and started to shoot fire another gunmen near al-Kuraimi Bank Friday evening in al-Mughtaribin St. in downtown Taiz, a security source told Newsyemen.
The armed attack killed Mahmoud al-Araj of the 170th Air Defense Brigade, he was taken to al-Safwa hospital. A cigarette seller, Qaid al-Majedi was wounded.
The clashes came hours after the killing of the soldier Abdelkhaliq Abdulrahman Saif al-Hajj, the brother of the commander at the 35th Armored Brigade Raid al-Hajj in Bir Basha area in Taiz.
