Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) announced on Sunday the resumption of its medical and humanitarian services in Aden city after a month's break amid a security incident.

"MSF resumed its activities at the Aden Surgical Hospital on May 5, a month after its activities were suspended following a security incident in the hospital," said  Hassan Boucenine, MSF head of mission in Yemen.

The suspension came when a patient was taken out of the hospital and found dead nearby, Boucenine made it clear.

"We have resumed our activities at Aden Surgical Hospital, being fully aware of the needs of the population, and we are grateful to all groups of society and authorities that have expressed their support and solidarity with us after the incident.", he said.
