When the first secondary class female student Sumaya came back home after she had finished her studying classes, she asked her parents" Is it true that Ali bin Abi Talib was the prophet but Jibreel made a mistake and conveyed a Message to his cousin Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

When her parents asked her “from where did you get this?” She replied from our Islamic education teacher.

Over the past three years, the Houthi militias have taken control all aspects of the Ministry of Education and started a systematic process aimed at creating a structural change in religious curriculum that is being taught to students in a way that strengthen their doctrinal and racist ideas based on divine right claims of power; moreover, the Houthi militias return the conflict concept to the first Hijri centuries ... etc.,  calling themselves, especially Houthis in Sa'ada and other families as being sons or daughters of the Prophet Mohammed.

The student Sumaya said to Newsyemen " Our female Islamic education teacher is one of the Houthi elements, the teacher teaches us something away from the school curriculum in our Islamic book at the school, and tries to convince us that this is the right religion, the teacher talks about the eligibility/Legitimacy of Ali, (the fourth Khalifah) to rule, and it is a must to take a revenge the blood of al-Hussein, (Ali's son); the teacher' moreover, said to us 'anyone who does not believe in Legitimacy of Ali bin Abi Talib and his followers, including Abdulmalik al-Houthi' would be outside the religion and would be described as hypocrite, and it is must be fought and killed.

Sumaya added that her school gives them two weekly lectures about the virtue of jihad alongside the Houthi militias and the need for young people to contribute in this jihad to go to the fronts, and urge them to donate some of their daily expenses to support what the militias called the War Effort.

The student said that her teacher at a school said " Ruhollah Khomeini was the most similar person to the prophet Mohammed, and Iran today leads the Resistance against the oppressors and the hypocrites, who are a continuation of the approach of Amaweyen injustice, as the militias claim.

The Ministry of Education in Sana'a is run by the brother of the Houthi militias leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi, Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who is one of the most radical elements ideologically in the militias.
