Taiz Military Axis carries out coup against the 35th Brigade, disperses Abu al-Abbas battalions' members

The Colonel Adel Farea, the commander of Abu al-Abbas Battalions, sent a cable to the Commander of the Fourth Military Region the Major General Fadl Hassan informing the second that the headquarters of Taiz Military Axis detained battalions' salaries for May.

In the cable also, the Colonel Abu al-Abbas indicated that the headquarters called battalions' members to attend at Nemah Rassam School yard so as to pay salaries without returning to the 35th Brigade's headquarters.

"It is strange that we have been subjected to a bloody war, which forced us to go out to al-Kadaha area, and prevented us from staying in our headquarters in the city," the cable read.

"Currently, Taiz military Axis called the battalions' members to enter again the city after they seized our headquarters in the old city of Taiz." the cable added.  

Abu al-Abbas accused the Axis leadership of dispersing the battalions forces and not dealing with the 35th Brigade according to the military hierarchy.

The headquarters of Abu al-Abbas battalions demanded the Fourth Military Region in interim capital Aden to direct to whom it may concern to sop such procedures outside the military law.

Because of these violations of the military law, angry members of the Abu al-Abbas on Tuesday blocked Taiz-Aden road in al-Berain checkpoint in protest against the seizing their salaries for the second month and the disperse their colleagues in al-Kadaha front.

The Brigadier General Adnan al-Hammadi ordered the commanders of Abu al-Abbas to open the road and lift the established sites so as the problem to be discussed later with headquarters of Taiz military Axis and the Fourth Military Region.  

Taiz Military Axis carried out a coup against Abu al-Abbas battalions and changed the battalions names into Support Battalions and joined them as a Reserve Force in the Axis,' moreover, appointed Mohammed al-Sanadid as financial officer, who was dismissed by Abu al-Abbas last month.
