Yemen researcher reveals Marib armed clashes in Marib city

The Yemeni political analyst Ghaleb Hawas said that the reasons of armed clashes in Marib city, eastern Yemen, came amid a dispute over a piece of land, the seller Abdulhaq Abod al-Sharif sold the land to the Islah parliamentarian member Mohammed al-Hazmi. 

 

Hawas said on Facebook, seen by NewsYemen, that the main problem of the recent security campaign concerning the piece of land between the two parties al-Sharif, 'Hashemi' and al-Hazmi, 'Hashemi' as well. 

 

'Hashemi' means " Ahl al-Bayt also Āl al-Bayt or Ahlul Bayt, is a phrase meaning, literally, "People of the House" or "Family of the House". Within the Islamic tradition, the term refers to the family of the Islamic prophet Muhammad PBUH".

 

According to Hawas, the hard-line MP Mohammed al-Hazmi came to Ibn Abod al-Sharif to complain about the selling deal, and then the events developed and a group of security agents attributed to al-Madani, an officer in Marib city, who is also "Hashemi", arrested those who came to review the case at the Complex Department, it is said that they have been died under torture."

 

He went on saying: "The parties to the sedition are all Hashimites and are fighting over the lands of Marib."

 

Hawas, said: "There are actually Houthis and they are sympathizers with Houthis who are called themselves 'Ashraf Marib' and they were condoned as being the Houthis, but when it comes to the conflict on the land, the so-called al-Sharaf took out security campaigns to fix the sale for al-Hazmi sold by Abdulhaq Sharif (Hashemi) and objected by the son of al-Amir Sharif (Hashemi).
