The leadership of the Coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen, announced on Tuesday, the release of 200 prisoners from the militia Houthi, in addition to allowing flights to transport patients from Sanaa International Airport.

The official Saudi Press Agency, quoted by the spokesman of the Arab coalition forces, Col. Turki al-Maliki, said that the joint forces command decided on their own initiative to release 200 prisoners of the Houthi militia.

Maliki said that "the leadership of the coalition forces on their own initiative decided to release 200 prisoners of the militia Houthi, in addition to the conduct of flights in cooperation with the World Health Organization to transport patients from the capital Sanaa to countries where they can receive appropriate treatment for their cases."

He pointed out that the decision comes from the keenness of the coalition leadership to continue to support efforts to resolve the crisis in Yemen and implement the agreement (Stockholm), including the agreement on the exchange of prisoners, and create the atmosphere to overcome any controversial points on the issue of prisoner exchange, which is a humanitarian issue in the first place, and continuously Coalition efforts to improve the humanitarian situation, especially the health of the Yemeni people
