A 50-year-old man died on Tuesday of dengue fever in Ozlah Al-Jumaa east of Mocha
According to local news sources, Al-Haj Nasser Dajdouj had been diagnosed with dengue fever a few days ago and recovered relatively, but refused to go to Mocha hospital for treatment when he felt better
With the death of Dajdouj, the death toll from the epidemic has risen to seven, according to statistics documented by Newsyemen.
In the middle of this month, dengue fever caused the death of three children, as well as dozens of cases in the Najiba area east of Mokha, prompting the local authority and its health facilities and the UAE Red Crescent to send mobile medical clinics to contain the epidemic.
