Tribal sources in the province of Marib, reported the killing of two soldiers and a tribal gunman, on Tuesday evening, in fierce clashes between a security campaign and tribal militants in the Valley Directorate.
The sources said that the clashes erupted after a large security campaign to the area of Al-Erqain in the Valley Directorate to arrest a member of the tribe of Damashqa named Hadi bin Hassan Muthanna, accusing him of killing a number of police officers at noon at a security point.
The sources pointed out that the tribe of Damashqa belonging to the tribes of Ubaida refused to hand over "Ibn Muthanna" to erupt clashes between the two parties with various types of weapons and resulted in the killing of two soldiers of the campaign and the eldest son of the wanted man named Faris bin Hadi bin Hassan Muthanna.
She added that the authorities in the province reinforced the campaign with military forces accompanied by heavy artillery and Katyusha vehicles began to fire shells and rockets at the villages of Damashqa
