World Food: Gunmen storm a WFP warehouse in Hajjah

The United Nations World Food Program (Monday) said that gunmen stormed its warehouse in Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.
A statement of the program, broadcast on its official account on the social networking site (Facebook), said that an armed group stormed a warehouse affiliated to the World Food Program in Hajjah Governorate, on Sunday evening.
The statement stressed that the armed group "took 127.5 tons of food aid."
The program condemned "categorically these interventions in our humanitarian operations in Yemen."
"The World Food Program must be allowed to provide the necessary food assistance to the most needy families in accordance with international humanitarian principles," he said.
