The terms of a new agreement to stop the military escalation and shooting in Hodeidah

Deputy Head of the United Nations Mission in Support of Hodeidah Agreement, the German Daniela Krosslak visited the first point of attachment to Al-Khumari and met with liaison officers from the joint forces and Houthi militias to discuss the calm mechanism that Houthi militias have not committed to since the entry into force of the UN armistice and the speed of deployment of international monitors along with the liaison officers of the two sides in the five points  

During the meeting, the representative of the liaison officers of the joint forces touched on the persistence and increase of the Houthi violations of the international truce through military operations and infiltration attempts in addition to planting mines and explosive devices and targeting cities and residential neighborhoods in various districts of Hodeidah.

 In the meeting, it was agreed between the representatives of liaison officers and in the presence of the Deputy Head of the United Nations Mission, the following seven points:

1- Ceasing all military activities of the Hayes district.

 2 - Stop attacks on checkpoints and keep checkpoints at contact points only for the operations of liaison officers.

 3 - Any missile or artillery bombardment by both parties is considered a violation of the armistice and an indication of military hoarding by the leaders of the aggressor.

 4 - When any infiltration or suspicious groupings from any party prevent the beating except after notifying the liaison officers in the triple operations room in the United Nations ship and taking into account the time until the communication to the various parties within a maximum period of 15 minutes, and in the case of non-cooperation and control of its forces, dealing with the target without any excuse for the party of the aggressor.

 5 - Prevents any kind of overflight, and stops air strikes

 6- Commitment to a ceasefire on all fronts and districts of Al-Hodeidah

 7 - Inviting the United Nations mission to quickly deploy observers within the five control points alongside the liaison officers of the two parties.

This meeting of the Deputy Head of the United Nations Mission with the liaison officers 'representatives comes in conjunction with the Houthi incursion and unsuccessful infiltration attempts on the joint forces' sites in the Al-Durhimi Directorate south of Al-Hodeidah city and an escalation in Hayd, Al-Tahita and Al-Jah with bombing and targeting.
