A source in the Southern Resistance Brigades in Al-Dhale’ said that the commander, Qasim Al-Thobani, the representative of the Arab Alliance for the Southern Resistance Brigades, survived an attempt to target directly during his visit to the Murais Front, north of Dhale’.

This came after the Houthi media announced that leaders of the Al-Dhale’ front had fallen in an attack targeting them in Murais and that a large number had been killed and wounded, which was denied by the source of the southern resistance brigades.

The source pointed out that a missile shell targeted Al-Thobani last week in one of the advanced sites and led to the death of 3 members of the first brigade, who resisted and wounded one of his companions.

The source added that the targeting came during an inspection visit to the front lines of the first brigade and the second brigade resistance by the commander Thobani.

Lt. Qassem Al-Thobani is one of the most prominent young leaders who managed to arrange the ranks of the Al-Dhale’ front, support and enable them to achieve a large number of organizational and military victories.
