A combat helicopter lands at a farm in Hadramout ... and sources reveal the reason

A military helicopter, affiliated with the Yemeni army, landed on Thursday afternoon, in an emergency, on one of the farms of the Hathiah Zone in Al-Qatan Directorate in Hadramout, southeast of the country.

Military sources said, "The helicopter was exposed to a technical defect while flying at the top of Al-Qatan city, forcing its commander to make an emergency landing on a citizen's farm without any injuries.

 It noted that the army forces imposed a security cordon around the place after the helicopter landed and prevented the citizens from approaching.

While a military source in the first military zone explained that the forced landing of the helicopter on Al-Qatan farm took place during the implementation of a military mission, pointing out that the engineers managed to fix the defect and return the plane to the air base in Seiyun  safely.


The helicopter had carried out search missions for wanted elements over the atmosphere of Al-Qatan City and the western and desert cities of Wadi Hadramout, from the early morning hours.
