Aden, Newsyemen:

Abdulmalik al-Houthi, leader of the Houthi militia has expressed his desire to barter prisoners of the Arab coalition forces, including a Saudi pilot, for Hamas suspects being tried in Saudi Arabia on charges of financing and supporting terrorism.

In a televised address on Thursday evening, March 26, 2020 AD, Abdulmalik al-Houthi announced his readiness to release one of the captive pilots along with four Saudi officers and soldiers in exchange for the release of what he described as "the kidnapped Hamas."

The Houthi announcement came as shocking to the Houthi elements in Sana'a, who are still expressing their indignation towards the position of the Hamas movement in favor of the (Decisive Storm) operations, the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen since March 2015.

Abdullah Al-Hamdani, a businessman, said that the announcement of Abdulmalik Al-Houthi to exchange Saudi prisoners for Hamas suspects is nothing but new evidence of the kidnapping of the Yemeni state and the Yemeni identity they are ranting in favor of the powers and interests of foreign countries, indicating that the Yemeni decision has also been kidnapped. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not aware of this, nor is the Supreme Political Council aware of this."

Al-Hamdani believes that Hamas should have been asked to apologize first for its support for the (Decisive Storm) operations that enter its sixth year in a row today, pointing to the presence of Yemeni prisoners in the coalition forces, "The first was to exchange the Saudi pilot with Yemeni prisoners."

On March 8, the Saudi authorities began trying dozens, including Hamas official in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad al-Khudari and his son, on charges related to "supporting and financing terrorism", and belonging to "a terrorist terrorist entity", according to the text of the lawsuit they were presented to.

On September 9, Hamas announced that Riyadh had arrested the leader of the movement, Muhammad Salih al-Khudari and his son, since April of last year.

It is noteworthy that Hamas is a terrorist organization in the United States, the European Union, Canada and Japan, while Jordan has banned its presence on its land, and Britain and Australia consider Hamas's armed wing, the 'Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, a terrorist organization.

Also, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Bahrain put Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood on the list of terrorist entities, as Egypt did. While Russia considers Hamas a part of the Palestinian political forces.
