On Friday, the joint forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia on their positions in the Hays district, south of Hodeidah, while the militias retaliated by bombing residential neighborhoods in the district.

A military source in the joint forces said that units of the 11th Brigade, the giants, clashed with Houthi elements who tried to infiltrate their positions in the Al-Udain Triangle northwest of Hays.

The source confirmed that the members of the 11th Brigade, the giants, thwarted the attempt to infiltrate and forced the Houthi militia to withdraw after the loss of human and material losses in their ranks during the clashes.

In the context, local sources said that the Houthi militia targeted with mortar shells at residential neighborhoods in the Beit Maghari area, west of Hays.

The sources added that the Houthi bombing caused material damage in the homes of citizens and caused a state of panic and fear among the families, especially children and women.
