Cabinet: Networks of illegal interests and power centers disrupt life

The Council of Ministers accused networks of illegal interests and unnamed power centers of disrupting life.

The council said, in its regular meeting today, according to Sabaa Agency, that it understands the popular anger, and affirmed standing by its legitimate and legal demands and working to meet them by all means and capabilities.

The Council of Ministers clarified that the government and all the forces and components participating in it spares no effort to find practical solutions to all the existing challenges, and will not evade its responsibilities under any consideration, and the citizens will be clear of the full facts in the event that the networks of illegal interests and power centers continue in the efforts to disrupt and obstruct. The government's efforts to regulate the situation and initiate real reforms to combat corruption and control revenues will continue despite attempts to obstruct.

The meeting approved the formation of a committee to assess and manage the conditions of the Aden Refineries Company and the branch of the Yemeni Oil Company in Aden, and to work out urgent and quick solutions to activate their work.

It also approved the formation of a committee to study rapid mechanisms and treatments for the supply of oil derivatives.

The Cabinet examined the economic conditions, the decline in the national currency exchange rate and the rise in the prices of basic foodstuffs, and appealed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the countries of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy to work to provide urgent support to the Yemeni people in these difficult circumstances, especially in supporting oil derivatives and the national currency with a financial deposit and helping the government to fulfill its obligations the basic.
