The Rights Network condemns the crime of burning refugees, and the international amnesty has called for an independent investigation

On Wednesday, Amnesty International stressed the need for an independent investigation into the circumstances of the devastating fire that occurred in the Immigration and Passports Authority's immigration detention center, Sana'a Governorate, on Sunday, 7 March.


The organization said that the incident confirms the urgent need for the United Nations Security Council to refer this file to the International Criminal Court.

While the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms condemned the heinous crime committed by the Houthi militia, and said that it has not yet been able to ascertain the true number of victims, who according to more than one source of the dead and wounded, some of whom were in critical condition due to the secrecy of the Houthi militia and its refusal to disclose the size of the victims and to bury the dead in mass graves .
