Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Private sources from Addis Ababa told "NewsYemen" that there are ongoing movements and meetings between the Yemeni embassy and the Ethiopian authorities.

The source, who preferred not to be named, said that these moves came against the backdrop of apparent tension after nearly 400 Africans were killed and burned in the capital, Sanaa, on March 7, most of them of Ethiopian nationality.

The source confirmed that the Yemeni embassy under the leadership of Professor Yahya Al-Eryani tried to intensify its efforts on a daily basis to clarify the circumstances of the incident and convey a message that the Houthi militia only represents itself as a terrorist group, and the Yemeni people have nothing to do with what happened in any way.

The source added that the incident constituted a great embarrassment for the Yemeni community and the official authorities, especially as it is a mainly humanitarian incident.

In addition to that the calls by the authorities there are continuing to establish peace and stability in Yemen, given that the two countries have a close relationship for many decades.

The source concluded that there is great understanding on the part of the brothers in Addis Ababa and that they are keen on all communities, including Yemenis, and that everyone lives under the roof of the law.

On the other hand, the Ethiopians appreciated the role played by some parties towards the victims after the crime committed by the Houthi militia, calling on the international community and organizations to do their duty towards the detainees, release them, and take firm measures towards the Sana'a authorities.
